We might not be able to "work it" in the usual manner, but we're not going to let that stop us. Say hello to our new feature, Work It From Home

Each week, we open a door into the lives of our community as they reveal how they're styling it up from the comfort of their own home. First up, it's Jess Skye.

On Home

"I work mainly from the kitchen, which is the perfect space to get my head down with the laptop - while making copious amounts of tea! We have a cute garden which needs sprucing up (it's on the list), but I work there in the warmer months. Fresh air and sun on my face is the ultimate motivation."

On Routine

"I wake up around 6:30am and go for a walk or a run with my dog Ted in tow. We do a lap around the park and then I shower and get dressed. Even with the current situation, I've made it my mission to wear makeup and dress up daily - it makes me feel more productive."

On Style

"My style varies from day to day. If I am at home working, I'll wear jeans, a T-shirt, an oversized cashmere jumper and flats, but when I have meetings, I'll wear a dress or pair an oversized blazer with tapered trousers and heeled sandals."

On Kicking Back

"I'm currently binging Tiger King on Netflix. Have you watched it? You should.

I've also started listening to podcasts. I love Happy Place by Fearne Cotton. It's so uplifting and the guests have such insightful stories."

On The Future

"Does working on my Tikitok count? I also want to improve my photography skills with this extra time at home. No more using excuses such as, "I don't have time."

It was one of my resolutions to travel more this year, and Nice, Paris and Marrakech are on my bucket list. But for now, weather-permitting, you'll find me with a glass of wine in the garden wearing summer sandals and dresses."

On Ted (the dog)

"Oh he's my absolute dream boy! He gives me so much joy and since going freelance about a year ago, he's been incredibly helpful in adding some structure and joy to my day. I always take him for a long walk or run in the morning as I find it helps keep me energised and mentally prepared to tackle the day. He gives the best cuddles."
